JANUARY CRIME WATCH

There were eight crimes committed in the Palisades during the month of January—three thefts, four thefts from automobiles, and one case of destruction of property.
One theft occurred at a house in the 5700 block of Sherier Place. Another occurred at the construction site at Sibley Hospital, while the third theft occurred in the 4800 block of Loughboro Road.
There were thefts from automobiles in the 4600 and 4700 blocks of Reservoir Road, the 2800 block of Hurst Terrace, and the 4800 block of MacArthur Boulevard.
The one case of destruction of property occurred on the street in the 4800 block of Reservoir Road, and incurred more than $200 in damages.
